About Straits Meadow:

Straits Meadow is a brand-new student accommodation sited on London Road, just 15 minutes from the heart of Edinburgh City Centre.

This luxury modern living area is second to none, designed specifically for our student’s needs with lots of local amenities close by.

There’s a large variety of public transport easily accessible to all college/universities and some of Edinburgh’s most spectacular landmarks just a short distance from us.

The Perfect Home Away From Home

We have a stunning mixture of sophisticated studios and cluster en suites, which are sure to allow you to enjoy luxury living in your home away from home.

Whether it’s online shopping, research for that all-important essay, or flicking through social media, we have you covered with your 250 Mpbs Wi-Fi.

There are a variety of private study rooms and study areas to be utilised, but if you want to take a break from studying, we have some amazing communal spaces – including a games room with a pool table!

On top of all of this, we also have our friendly on-site maintenance team will also be on hand to help with any questions you may have, big or small, to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Close To All Amenities And Attractions

Strait’s Meadow is a great choice for any of Edinburgh’s University’s as they are all easily commutable by walking/public transport/cycling/driving.

However, some of the closest are University of Edinburgh – George Square (1.7 miles), The Pleasance Sports Complex (1.4 miles), Edinburgh College of Art (2.1 miles) and Queen’s Margaret University (4.6 miles – bus stop outside takes you directly there within 30 mins).

Get Ready To Explore!

With Holyrood Park and Arthurs Seat just a five-minute walk around the corner, if you ever need to clear your head and get outside this is the perfect place!

Arthur’s Seat is an extinct volcano which is the main peak of the groups of hills in Edinburgh, which form most of Holyrood Park.

It offers impressive panoramic views of the city and there is a lovely pond at the bottom that you can take a leisurely stroll around Right across from the pond you can find Holyrood Palace – the official residence of the Royal Family when they are in Edinburgh.

Just a 5-minute walk along the road you have Meadowbank Shopping Centre where you should be able to find something for all your needs, it includes: Sainsbury’s, M&S Outlet, TK Max, B&M, Poundland & KFC.

If it’s a quick snack or comfort food you need, right next door to us you can find McDonalds, but if you fancy something a bit more tasteful don’t’ worry there are lots of cafes/restaurants close by.
