MemSaab is a fine dining Indian restaurant in the heart of the city.
It is highly rated, as one of the best Indian restaurants in the UK so, you need to put this on your list to try out.
It is obviously fantastic to sit in, but with the option to takeaway, it is also a great shout as a treat for you and friends to share.
There are all the Indian classics you love, with a range of curries and succulent barbecued meats to enjoy.

If you’re a fan of stacked, juicy, dirty burgers, Fat Hippo is one of the best around.
A chain burger restaurant that has made waves wherever it has opened a store, Fat Hippo is one of those places where you’ll end up with cheese and sauce all over your face and fingers after eating it, but you won’t care one bit!
This is what makes it a good takeaway in Nottingham, as you get all the toppings, some great spicy chicken wing sides, dirty fries, and many different burger toppings.
And, you can do so in the safety of your student apartments, rather than watching the sauce and crispy onions spill down your top when you take your first bite of the PB+JJ burger!

For many students in Nottingham, Mayfair is the one.
The best takeaway Nottingham offers, especially when it comes to Chinese takeaways in particular.
It serves up all the classic Chinese dishes you know and love, particularly great chicken chow mein and ribs for us.
The pancakes are good too, and everything on the menu is just bursting with flavour.
If you like Chinese food or you want to try it as you’ve never had it before, this is the best example of a Chinese takeaway at a decent price in Nottingham. You won’t be disappointed.
This place is collection only but it’s well worth the trip (just a 5-minute walk from Straits Village!)

5. Bunk
Cocktails and chicken wings, what more do you want in life?
Bunk gives you a great night out, but it can also be the perfect takeaway and night-in experience.
The portions of chicken wings are generous to say the least.
You can choose traditional or boneless wings; the veggie option is great too.
The choice of sauce is crucial, and there are loads to choose from including smoked BBQ, sticky Thai honey, buffalo, and habanero to name just a few.
Get the napkins ready to wipe your mouth and your brow, you’ll be a delighted sweaty mess by the end of the wing box.
You can even buy a box of up to 100 pieces if you and your friends are feeling adventurous!
The burgers and dogs are just as good, but it’s the chicken that makes Bunk’s reputation.

It is great value for money, and you’ll be sure to go back again and again.
