The purpose of World Book Day is to encourage and promote reading across all ages.

This year the theme is “you are a reader” in celebration of the global event’s 25th anniversary.

The aim is to promote reading for pleasure to encourage a love of reading in children and adults.

This day is a perfect excuse for you to get cosy in your student accommodation and grab a book to get stuck into.
