The only ‘beer palace’ in Scotland is the perfect place to have a boozy bottomless brunch in the capital. It’s a decadent experience with a bluesy soundtrack from a live band, with prices starting at £39.95 per person. 

Upon entry you’ll get a speciality cocktail and a sharing platter of meats, cheeses, and pastries.  

Whether you want a Bloody Mary, a strong cocktail or a beer, there’s plenty of great food to fill you up, such as candied bacon pancakes, a haggis benny, or Belgian waffles.

2. Gaucho

Famous for its steak, this Argentinian steakhouse offers luxury and some of the best meat dishes anywhere in the city.  

Their ‘Electro Brunch’ menu is a bottomless brunch offering with a Latin flavour.  

The Gaucho brunch obviously includes steak with eggs and chimichurri, but there’s more to it than that.

With some amazing sides and other breakfast dishes, as well as cocktails, beers, and juice (or you can upgrade to espresso martinis and porn star martinis).  

It’s a luxury setting for a sumptuous brunch feast! 

Prices vary but we’d say it’s worth the extra pennies for what’s included…

3. Hanover Tap

Two hours of craft beer and cider, bubbly Prosecco, a range of cocktails, and some fantastic breakfast dishes.

What’s not to like about the Hanover Tap 

For under £30 per person, you can choose a big Scottish breakfast with all the classics or go something a little different like one of the melt burgers, sweet waffles, pizza, or quesadillas. 

It’s a popular local craft pub, that particularly comes alive during the Edinburgh Fringe, and is a place where you can see some great stand-up comedy.

4. Greenwoods

Greenwoods has been a successful brunch spot in Amsterdam for a few decades now, and the Scottish manager brought it home to offer up some amazing brunches to Edinburgh students.  

It’s always a busy, buzzing hotspot for brunch and has an interesting twist on the breakfast dishes you’d expect to see.  

Alongside the Full Scottish, the Dutch influence is clear with Appel Taart a choice, burgers, vegetarian and vegan brunch options and more.

5. Bar Soba

The Street Food brunch at Bar Soba is something a little bit different to the traditional bottomless boozy brunches you’d expect to see, but it is spectacular.  

You get the food, 4 cocktails, glasses of Prosecco or bottled beer at £30 per person. 

Japanese dumplings, teriyaki noodles, cheeseburger spring rolls, and katsu curry, are all dishes that make for an interesting brunch selection, alongside the signature Soba Colada cocktail, Prosecco, and a Zombie Punch for drinks choices.

6. The Chanter

The Chanter is a relaxed, student-friendly craft pub that is the perfect brunch spot to catch up with friends, to watch some live sport on the TVs, play retro games, quiz, or to get involved with a 90-minute boozy brunch!  

Full Scottish breakfasts, crumpets, breakfast quesadillas, and burgers are on offer, all to be washed down by some cocktails, beer, or Prosecco.  

Bottomless wings and other tasty sharing platters are on offer, as well as upgrades to the cocktail selection.

Indigo Yard is the West End dream of brunches and has been one of the most popular brunch spots for over 25 years, and with good reason!  

A fashionable joint with a classy vibe and a good range of craft beers to choose from.

The boozy brunch isn’t as expensive as you’d expect from the type of place it is, with 2 drinks and a brunch dish for just £20.   

Some of the delicious plates on offer include a mixed berry compote waffle, a Scottish smoked salmon rosti, and a breakfast burger.
