You’ll want to know all about the nightlife, and Birmingham is as vibrant as it gets for a student. It is easy to get around from bar to bar, and club to club, in a city centre that is small enough to make a good crawl on a night out! Whether you are into indie music, pop, classic rock, hip hop or RnB, you’ll have a wide range of choices on your doorstep.
Those who love their food will love living in Birmingham. From the Balti Triangle, which offers a multitude of amazing Indian cuisine (the best in the UK), to the Chinese Quarter, which is home to some low cost, quality Chinese food (amazing for hungry students on a budget). For shopping the famous Bull Ring is home to well over 100 shops, and just out of the city centre Star City is home to a 30 screen cinema. Cannon Hill Park is a great spot for joggers and those after an outdoor pursuit, whilst football lovers can watch some professional sport at Birmingham City or Aston Villa.
As Birmingham is very much in the centre of England the transportation options are excellent.
