Sheffield Hallam University is located within Sheffield City Centre and has over 32,000 students and 4,000 staff members, making it one of the largest universities in the UK. Established in 1843 as the Sheffield School of Design, Sheffield Hallam University is renowned for its research and academic excellence. The university has five faculties, including the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, the Faculty of Arts, Computing, Engineering and Sciences, the Faculty of Development and Society, and the Faculty of Education, Arts and Humanities.

Sheffield Hallam University also has world-class research and teaching facilities, such as the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research, and the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Life Sciences.
