5. Check Out Moor Market
You’ve gotta go to Moor Market if you’re wondering what to do in Sheffield with your friends!
This modern indoor farmers market is home to over 90 independent traders, which is ideal for those after some retail therapy or homeware essentials.
As well as this, they also have food, ideal for those who want to impress their uni mates with a scrumptious meal.
There’s around 10 different butchers as well as deli stores selling specialist cheeses and global flavours.

6. Shopping At Meadowhall
If you couldn’t find everything you were looking for at Moor Market, you need to visit Meadowhall.
Meadowhall is home to 260 shops and restaurants, so shopping here is a no-brainer really.

7. The Peak District
Living and studying in Sheffield is awesome because you’re living in a buzzy city, but also super close to the countryside!
You can actually get a bus from Sheffield to the scenic Hope Valley, the village of Castleton as well as Sheffield more.
That’s just to name a few, there are actually bags of places you can get to via bus when living in the city!
Chatsworth House offers loads of walking opportunities around the state (for free), or you can buy a ticket for the gardens.
Basically, if you’re bored and wondering what you can do in Sheffield, one big answer is to go for a walk!
